Walked the Tunbridge Wells Circular (Sussex Section).  Part of this walk shadows the Spa Valley Railway.

I have taken quite a keen interest in the reinstatement of the Uckfield - Lewes line.  For more info see the Wealdon Line Campaign.  This campaign also advocates the Spa Valley line being reintegrated into the scheduled rail network.

'Junction' of the Uckfield stump (far track) and the Spa Valley.  There are no points, just a deviating track.

Gate across the Spa Valley track.  For some unfathomable reason, buried in copious quantities of red tape, the Spa Valley Railway are not allowed to run into Eridge.  Integrated transport - NOT!  It is quite clear that the authorities were not inclined to make life easy for resurrection of this line.  See the Wealdon Line campaign website (link above) for the grisly details of what has happened to these two lines.  All credit to the Spa Valley, battling against the odds, to reverse the damage.
